Make a Sugar Scrub with 3 Simple Ingredients

Fun fact: the average snail has over 14,000 teeth, and in some parts of the world people use them for facials to eat dead skin and stuff.

If you think that’s a little strong, we agree. So, we have a way to DIY a skin exfoliate without involving thousands of snail teeth:

A coconut-coffee sugar scrub.

We love this is recipe because the coconut oil is a great moisturizer, the sugar is a super sweet exfoliator, and the coffee is known to help with cellulite via the caffeine.

What You’ll Need:

• Mixing bowl
• 1 cup coffee grounds (fresh or pre-ground, doesn’t matter!)
1 cup sugar (any kind works, but a finely ground sugar will be the most gentle)
• ½ cup coconut oil

Grab a big mixing bowl, stir everything together until it’s evenly distributed and moist, and it’s done! If you store this scrub in a sealed jar it can last as long as two months.

You can make it to treat yourself – which we always recommend – and all it needs it a cute mason jar to whip it into an adorable gift in a flash.
